Originally from Kernersville, NC, Willie was first drawn to Colorado in 2011 when he and his college friends hit the road for a 2-week long road trip full of rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and mountaineering. He studied Outdoor Experiential Education and graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in Recreation Management. Today, he works directly with guests and team members to plan and facilitate memorable outdoor experiences.
Willie has lived, guided, and played in Colorado Springs since 2012. He has professional training including Wilderness First Responder, Single Pitch Instructor, and Level 4 Kayak Instructor. Willie is also an active member of the American Mountain Guide Association and American Canoe Association.
