Frequently asked questions about Broadmoor Outfitters Guided Trips and Adventures

Broadmoor Outfitters and Soaring Adventures strive to make our trips as safe as possible. We have strict training and certification procedures. Our Zip Line guides are even tested and certified by an independent third party. It is important to remember however, that part of what makes our trips exciting is the inherent risk. We can’t get rid of that risk without diminishing the essence of our activities. So, we do our best, follow industry best practices, but in there end, there is always risk.

We recommend that you bring light rain jacket, as well as shorts, T-shirts, sunglasses, sunscreen and fully enclosed shoes or boots.
 
The weather in Colorado Springs is erratic. We will cancel trips if the wether is unsafe, however, the fact it’s raining does not mean it is unsafe.  Come prepared for a variety of weather conditions.
 
Besides the need to dress weather appropriate, you confirmation e-mail will include any special considerations that should be made regarding clothing. 
 
Regardless of tour, layers are always a good idea!
Most of our activities and tours require advance reservations. 
 
We require reservations because we do sell out. If you have a specific time and date you would like to go out with us, please book in advance to assure its availability.
 
We do accept last minute reservations; however, we cannot guarantee there will be space available for you or your group.

Most of our activities do have an age limit. Those limits range from 5 years old and up. To see limits for specific activities, view our activity booking pages here

For our Broadmoor and Colorado Springs guests, we require a 48 hour notice of cancellation policy for groups in size from 1-10 people.
 
Cancelation terms vary for corporate groups. Please contact one of your sales managers to discuss your cancellation or attrition terms.

Absolutely!!  You can rent the camera from us, or just a helmet strap so you can use your own camera.

 

We don’t allow any adhesives on our helmets. 

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards.

Registered guests of The Broadmoor, can bill any activities directly to their room.

Our tour times vary throughout the year based on season and weather. Go to www.broadmooroutfitters.com and click on the RESERVE ONLINE  button. Click on your desired activity and you will be able to see the schedule and book online.

Occasionally, weather gets in our way, but we aim to provide trips year round. We have guided trip options available for most weather conditions.
